Sharjah: The International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024), organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, will take place on September 4-5 at Expo Centre Sharjah, focusing on enhancing the communication skills of youth and university students.
The event offers a comprehensive agenda with 29 discussion sessions and workshops designed to equip participants with valuable skills in communication and artificial intelligence (AI).
Key features of IGCF 2024 include the Youth Hall, Universities Challenge, and AI Skills Camp. The Youth Hall will concentrate on improving public speaking abilities and understanding the impact of AI on communication. Meanwhile, the AI Skills Camp will provide students with foundational knowledge in AI, particularly in media and government content creation.
The Universities Challenge encourages students to innovate in content creation, with workshops covering professional ethics, effective communication practices, and the integration of modern technologies in government communication.
The forum also introduces a “Kids Content Creation” platform, focusing on the challenges and opportunities in producing engaging content for young audiences. Additionally, discussions will address the role of the Arab Parliament for the Child and the future of children’s content creation, ensuring a holistic approach to youth empowerment in communication.
