Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Arabian Horse Championship for Private Stud Owners has delivered four days of electrifying competition and crowning champions across multiple categories.
Held in the Grand Hall of Boudheib Academy, the event, organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), featured a record-breaking 333 horses from across the UAE.
The championship attracted a distinguished audience, including owners, breeders, and managers of UAE-based studs. Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the EAHS, presided over the closing ceremony, honoring top winners and recognizing significant contributions to the field.
In a special moment, Al Harbi awarded American handler Troy Smith for his lifelong dedication to Arabian horses, marking his final participation in Arabian horse championships.
The Senior Stallions Championship showcased remarkable performances, with Fakhr Al Bateen of Al Bateen Stud securing the gold medal. The silver went to JS Al Sultan for Al Juwaher Stud, while Aned Al Hawajer clinched the bronze for Ghanem Al Hajri.
Championship Highlights
- Yearling Fillies: MZ Afaal of Mezyad Stud dazzled to win gold, while Shehailiah Alnoud, owned by Khaled Sulaiman Al Nuami, took silver. Sheikha Alyah, owned by Mohamed Ahmed Al Ali, claimed bronze.
- Junior Fillies: BW Rodha earned gold for Ali Salem Al Kaabi, with Haya Al Fahaid taking silver for Mohamed Saeed Al Hajri. BW Futaim, also for Ali Salem Al Kaabi, secured bronze.
- Senior Mares: Massa Al Hawajer claimed gold for Ghanem Al Hajri, followed by silver for AD Bdoor owned by Hamad Adnan Al Shehhi and bronze for JS Raneem of Al Jawaher Stud.
- Yearling Colts: Sarab BHM of Bin Humaila Stud triumphed with gold, while Sharar Al Manhal earned silver for Fahed Salem Al Zaabi, and Fanaan Mughaider took bronze for Rashid Saif Al Zaabi.
- Junior Colts: MZ Adeeb of Mezyad Stud won gold, with Ramz Alyah securing silver for Mohamed Ahmed Al Ali and Exeer Al Gheed clinching bronze for Al Gheed Stud.
With record-breaking participation and exceptional performances, the event exemplified the UAE’s passion and commitment to the timeless equestrian tradition.
