Abu Dhabi: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has launched “Ma’ashi,” a new digital pension platform planned to simplify access to pension-related services for Emiratis. As one of the UAE’s prominent digital transformation initiatives, Ma’ashi was designed under the 2022 UAE performance agreements to facilitate services for employers, insured Emiratis, pensioners, and beneficiaries.
The platform is a step forward in the UAE government’s vision, “We are the UAE 2031,” which aims to upgrade customer service standards and create a world-leading digital venture. It allows users to access services independently using a digital identity, improving user satisfaction and accessibility.
Enhanced features for employers, insured members, and pensioners
Employers can now utilize the Ma’ashi platform to interact digitally with insured members, track service requests, and receive proactive notifications, providing a safer, round-the-clock service experience. Insured members, including civilians and military personnel, can handle requests independently—ranging from employment period changes to retirement planning and pension calculations.

This feature provides a seamless experience for those requiring assistance, ensuring services meet international standards of privacy, flexibility, and transparency.
A step toward international standards in digital pension services
The Ma’ashi platform attaches to international benchmarks for privacy and service continuity, available 24/7 with robust security measures. Streamlining transactions and improving transparency in tracking contributions, it allows stakeholders to maintain timely payments and enhances overall insurance awareness in the UAE.
