Abu Dhabi: Global Food Week, organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, is set to take place at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from November 26 to 28, 2024. This Global Food Week event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, strives to address key challenges in global food security, innovation, and sustainable agriculture.
The week will highlight three main events: the debut of the Global Food Security Summit, the third edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition, and the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition. These meetings will attract leaders, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to foster partnership and innovation across the agriculture and food industries.
The Global Food Security Summit, organized in partnership with the UAE Food & Beverage Manufacturers Group, will host over 600 officials and 80 speakers from more than 60 countries in ADNEC Centre’s spacious Conference Halls A and B. The summit’s agenda encloses panels, workshops, and discussions on food sector innovation, climate change challenges, and strategies for boosting global food production.
Returning for its largest edition yet, the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition will tie exhibitors with the world’s rapidly growing food and beverage markets, featuring government representatives and specialized companies from across the sector. This exhibition offers an excellent platform for networking and business development in food production and technology.
In partnership with the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition will showcase improvements in date palm production. Recognized as the only global event concentrated on this Middle Eastern crop and North Africa region, the exhibition will welcome participants from over 40 countries and feature national pavilions from more than 20 countries.
Global Food Week promises an exhaustive platform for discussion, knowledge-sharing, and the exploration of innovative solutions in agriculture and food security. Registration is now open for those looking to experience this landmark event.
