Abu Dhabi: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has unveiled the “Our Stories” campaign to improve the overall level of awareness about the federal pension law amongst members covered by its provision.
The Campaign contains stories regarding important pension regulations and practices, with several questions that contestants, covered by the provisions of the law, must answer correctly to win $544.51 (AED2,000).
The competition will take place twice a month via GPSSA’s social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook under GPSSSAAE.
OUR STORIES
“Our Stories” is inline with GPSSA’s effort to implement innovative awareness methods that entice members covered by the law to research and investigate legal material and clauses that may be initially challenging to comprehend.
Members will benefit more from their insurance participation through this exercise since it will familiarize them with their rights and obligations.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The campaign targets employers and insured Emiratis working in the government or private sector, pensioners, beneficiaries, GCC citizens working in the UAE (who can benefit from the insurance protection extension system), human resources departments (across different entities), graduates and university students who enter the labor market.
The “Our Stories” campaign focuses on raising awareness on the pension law and the insurance benefits it encompasses, highlighting the importance of social security and its role in protecting the insured from injuries and/or work-related risks during working hours, as well as the role of employers in enabling the GPSSA to fulfil its obligations towards contributors, while raising awareness amongst entities and insured individuals regarding their obligations and duties.
