Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Public Works of the State of Kuwait, aiming to strengthen collaboration in the fields of investment, mineral resource development, and mining sciences. The agreement marks a significant step in fostering joint economic and mining activities between the two entities.
The agreement was signed by Eid Al Rashidi, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works, and Ali Qassim, Director-General of FNRC. The signing ceremony was attended by prominent officials, including Mohamed Saif Al Afkham, Chairman of the FNRC Board of Directors; Ali Salem Al Thayedi, Consul-General of Kuwait in Dubai; and Captain Musa Murad, Director General of the Port of Fujairah.
Under this agreement, FNRC and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works will collaborate closely in several key areas. These include sharing expertise in investment and mining sectors, conducting joint scientific studies and research, and exchanging field and technical visits. The partnership also focuses on the exchange of mining information and expertise, aiming to enhance the knowledge base in both regions.
Moreover, the two organisations will jointly organise training programmes and events related to investment, mining, and earth sciences. These efforts are designed to unify and coordinate on joint projects, raise awareness about the importance of mineral resources, and promote the adoption of innovative practices in the mining industry.
This partnership is expected to significantly boost the economic and mining sectors in both Fujairah and Kuwait, contributing to the development of sustainable and efficient practices in the region. By working together, FNRC and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works aim to leverage their combined strengths to achieve shared goals in mineral resource management and economic growth.
