Dubai: The Dubai Future Academy, part of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has launched the “FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program,” a pioneering four-week initiative aimed at equipping global leaders with future-oriented skills and strategies.
This immersive program brings together 42 leaders from 15 countries, engaging them in 33 interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and panel discussions at the academy’s headquarters.
Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Deputy Managing Director of DFF, inaugurated the program, urging participants to embrace the transformative opportunities presented by rapid advancements across sectors.
“Preparing for the future requires foresight, leveraging emerging technologies, and developing adaptable strategies,” Al Olama stated. He emphasized that the program is an opportunity to enhance leadership, strategic planning, and innovation skills, enabling participants to shape the future of their respective fields and benefit their communities.

Global Participation
The program attracted over 1,500 applications from nearly 100 countries. A selection committee carefully reviewed the applications, ultimately selecting C-level executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, government officials, and specialists from diverse fields committed to designing the future.
The program features 22 renowned speakers, including prominent futurists and innovators such as Professor Fadel Adib, recipient of the ‘Great Arab Minds Award’; Professor Paul Saffo; Dr. Michael Shermer; Dr. Steven Novella; and Dr. Danielle Belardo. They will share insights on foresight, disruptive innovation, leadership, and future technologies.
Exploring Innovation
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, described the program as the first of its kind in the region, offering participants a comprehensive educational journey. In addition to interactive sessions, participants will visit leading organizations and innovation hubs across the UAE, gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
Scheduled tours include visits to the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai Future Labs, and the Museum of the Future. These field visits will showcase breakthrough innovations shaping the UAE’s future across various industries.
Impactful Projects
Throughout the month-long program, participants will collaborate on projects focused on addressing future societal challenges and driving innovation. The initiative also aims to foster cross-sector collaboration and partnerships among participants from around the world.
“The FEEL Program offers participants a unique platform to exchange expertise, build networks, and contribute to shaping the future,” AlJaziri noted.
