Dubai: Dubai Municipality has announced the opening of registration for the fifth season of its Farmers’ Market, one of its flagship community initiatives designed to bring together Emirati farmers and local producers on a single platform.
The market allows participants to showcase and sell their products directly to residents and visitors, while providing support to develop their farms and businesses, increase local agricultural output, and promote sustainable farming practices. The initiative also reinforces Dubai’s position as a global benchmark for quality of life and environmental sustainability.
The upcoming season will return to Quranic Park in Al Khawaneej and run from December 6, 2025, to February 8, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday. The previous season recorded a 49 percent increase in visitor numbers, demonstrating the market’s growing popularity as a vibrant, family-friendly event.

Visitors can enjoy a festive atmosphere while purchasing fresh, locally grown produce, enriched with cultural activities and interactive entertainment suitable for all ages. This season, 41 Emirati farmers will participate, alongside 16 local agricultural product and supply owners, offering a wide range of fresh and organic goods.
The initiative is part of Dubai Municipality’s broader commitment to supporting local agriculture as a key pillar of the emirate’s economic growth. Farmers and producers also receive logistical support, access to agricultural supplies, training programs, advisory services, and awareness campaigns to promote sustainable farming practices.
The Farmers’ Market represents a unique intersection of community engagement, entrepreneurship, and environmental responsibility, providing direct interaction between producers and consumers, strengthening awareness of local products, and fostering a culture of responsible consumption and support for national production.

Mohammed Ahli, Acting Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, said that, “We are delighted to welcome the return of the Farmers’ Market for its fifth season. The market is more than a space for local farmers to sell their produce. It is a civic experience that brings people together, strengthens appreciation for Emirati products, and encourages sustainable consumer habits.”
The new season will feature educational workshops, interactive sessions, and dedicated community events catering to diverse audiences. Registration is now open via the Dubai Municipality website, with submissions and required documents due by November 20, 2025.
The fourth season of the market attracted 102,625 visitors, providing a platform for farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs to engage directly with the public. A wide variety of locally produced goods, including vegetables, fruits, dairy products, honey, and dates, were made available, further promoting community awareness and appreciation of local production and food sustainability.
