The event kicked off with a welcoming registration session, setting the stage for a day of insightful discussions and networking opportunities.
The opening speech by Mohammed Omar, Sales Director for EMEA at Exito Media Concepts, emphasized the growing importance of DevOps and security in today’s fast-paced business environment, setting the tone for the expert-led discussions that followed.
One of the key sessions, “Fortifying DevOps: Deploying Advanced Security Measures within CI/CD Pipelines,” moderated by Dr. Yoonus Ahammed, Director of Data Science-Transaction Monitoring at Confidential, focused on integrating security practices into development workflows.
The session featured Daniel Howe, Senior Sales Engineer at Fastly, and Shivendra Saxena, Chief Information Security Officer at Emeritus, who delved into crucial topics such as DevSecOps, container security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The speakers discussed methods to protect pipelines and runtime environments from rising cyber threats.

The event’s feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with 94 per cent of attendees expressing satisfaction with the registration process. 98 per cent rated the event’s setup and organization as outstanding, while 97 per cent of participants found the learning opportunities to be exceptional. Looking ahead, 95 per cent of attendees indicated interest in forming future business engagements with service providers in the next 6-12 months, highlighting the summit’s success in facilitating meaningful connections.
