Ras Al Khaimah: HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has inaugurated the Etihad Water and Electricity Museum at the Saud bin Saqr Energy and Innovation Park. The initiative showcases the UAE’s strides in development and innovation.
Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah’s Investment and Development Office, and Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, attended the event.
During the ceremony, HH Sheikh Saud highlighted the importance of preserving the UAE’s developmental legacy, emphasizing its historic achievements that have enhanced its status regionally and globally.
Sheikh Saud remarked that, “This museum stands as a testament to the UAE’s remarkable progress and serves as a repository for key milestones that shaped the nation’s journey toward excellence.”
The newly inaugurated museum features a wide array of photographs, archival documents, artifacts, and vintage equipment that were integral to the implementation of developmental projects. Sheikh Saud toured the museum’s sections, closely examining its collection and reflecting on the transformative phases of the UAE’s energy and infrastructure sectors.
The Etihad Water and Electricity Museum underscores the UAE’s commitment to innovation and sustainability while celebrating its history, positioning itself as a hub for knowledge and inspiration for future generations.
