Dubai: ENOC Group, a leading global energy player, has announced a strategic collaboration with the Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) to enhance workforce skills in the energy sector.
The venture was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signing, between Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, and Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of the DGHR, during the Ru’ya, Careers UAE 2024 event.
This MoU aims to empower ENOC employees by assisting them develop workforce skills in the energy sector and its competencies. Saif Humaid Al Falasi commented on the collaboration stating that, “We are delighted to work with the Dubai Government Human Resources Department to shape a workforce equipped with future-ready skills to meet the growing demands of the energy sector. Through this collaboration, we focus on enhancing behavioral competencies across various job categories, attracting and retaining high-potential talent who will shape the nation’s energy future.”
Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, DGHR Director-General, added by emphasizing the importance of building partnerships with government entities to support Emirati talent. Abdulla Ali bin stated that, “This collaboration reflects our commitment to creating a competitive, skilled workforce by equipping our employees with essential future skills. This initiative will help them to adapt to global changes and contribute to Dubai’s long-term development goals.”
The agreement includes the development of innovative, department-specific training programs, alongside studies on human resource management designed to develop a culture of innovation and knowledge.
