Dubai: Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is set to enhance its operations between Dubai and Vienna with the deployment of its retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK125/126 starting January 3, 2025. This makes Vienna the fourth European city to admit the airline’s upgraded, four-class aircraft, offering passengers a superior travel experience.
The newly enhanced Boeing 777 features Emirates’ Premium Economy class alongside refreshed interiors in First, Business, and Economy classes. The aircraft retains eight First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy seats, all planned for ultimate ease and convenience.
Flight EK125 will depart Dubai daily at 15:40 local time, landing in Vienna at 18:50. The return flight EK126 will depart Vienna at 21:45 and arrive in Dubai at 06:25 the next day. Tickets are available through Emirates’ website, app, travel agents, or retail outlets.
The Premium Economy cabin features a spacious 2-4-2 layout with comfortable designed seats and adjustable headrests, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Meanwhile, Business Class delivers a luxurious experience motivated by Emirates’ flagship A380 design, with lie-flat seats, a personal mini-bar, and a 23-inch HD screen for in-flight entertainment.
Celebrating two decades of operations in Austria, Emirates has transported over 5 million passengers and nearly 250,000 tons of freight between Vienna and Dubai since 2004. The airline currently operates two daily flights to Vienna with a mix of Boeing 777s and A380s, offering over 1,000 seats per day.
With Austria staying a strategic market, Emirates continues to invest in local recruitment campaigns and cargo operations to keep both passenger and freight demand.
