Abu Dhabi: With the UAE all set to celebrate the 9th of May as the annual ‘Emirates Medical Day’, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Frontline Heroes Office, has paid his tribute to the healthcare workers for their invaluable contributions in the country.
The annual ‘Emirates Medical Day’ honors and celebrates the incredible contributions made by the medical staff to the UAE.
In a statement to mark the occasion of a new initiative held for the first time this year, Sheikh Sultan expressed his gratitude to the true heroes of society who have dedicated their lives to providing expert and compassionate care to the people of the UAE, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sheikh Sultan described all the healthcare workers as inspiring role models and their services to the UAE are truly appreciated, as they are always at the forefront at crucial times of need and were essential to the country’s robust response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we commemorate the inaugural ‘Emirates Medical Day’ in the UAE, we celebrate and honor each and every healthcare professional that is working in the medical field across the country for their on-going commitment to improving the lives of our people and helping them live long, happy and fulfilling lives.
Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan observed about the special day for healthcare workers.
The Frontline Heroes Office Board Chairman remarked that the Office acknowledges and extends its gratitude towards the medical professionals of the UAE. In line with the Office’s efforts over the last two years to champion those working on the frontline, it has launched a series of initiatives with the help of its strategic partners to support medical professionals and their families.
Sheikh Sultan further added that the frontline heroes have demonstrated values of sacrifice and dedication to our country in their actions every day when protecting the UAE and its people from the threat of COVID-19.
The Frontline Heroes Office Official also pointed out that their heroic actions and contributions to the society throughout the pandemic and every day will always be remembered and celebrated, and The Office will continue to provide support and recognition to the medical staff of the UAE.
