Dubai: Emirates is introducing a new City Check-in and Travel Store in the thriving financial district of Dubai, providing customers with a hassle-free experience. This modern facility will offer a range of services such as flight booking, check-in, luggage drop-off, travel shopping, and time-saving measures at the airport. It is situated at the prestigious ICD Brookfield Place, located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and is set to commence operations on 27th April 2023.
Emirates is committed to improving customer satisfaction, and their latest initiative is the City Check-in and Travel Store, strategically located in Dubai’s bustling financial district to cater to busy professionals. This cutting-edge facility enables customers to drop off their luggage as early as 24 hours before their flight, providing the freedom to arrive at the airport at their convenience. The store is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and offers multiple check-in options, including self-check-in kiosks, dedicated Emirates agents, and a unique check-in robot assistant named Sara, a world first.
The City Check-in and Travel Store boast the innovative Sara, a portable robotic check-in system equipped with the ability to match faces with scanned passports, check passengers in, and guide them to the luggage drop-off point. The store’s 2.5 meter LCD screen showcases Emirates’ latest destination content, while interactive touchscreen maps provide an immersive experience.
The stylish and contemporary space offers a range of services, including ticket booking, travel merchandise browsing, luggage drop-off, and check-in. Paid valet parking and self-parking are available, ensuring a hassle-free check-in experience for Emirates passengers. Visitors can also benefit from expert advice and exclusive offers on popular destinations, while dedicated travel consultants can assist with booking future journeys, managing existing bookings, purchasing upgrades, selecting preferred seats, and arranging extra baggage if required.
Emirates passengers holding valid boarding passes and looking to explore the area or relax before their flight can enjoy complimentary access to select lifestyle facilities in the renowned ICD Brookfield Place. In addition, they can take advantage of exclusive discounts and special offers across a range of restaurants, gyms, and luxury stores, including Josette, 1Rebel, Lulu and Beanstalk, and Embody Fitness. Visitors to the DIFC area can also explore an array of services, shopping options, world-class cuisine, and art galleries, including the extensive promenade at DIFC’s Gate Avenue. When it’s time to board their flight, passengers can easily connect to the airport via taxi, or Emirates chauffeur service, or take a brief 10-minute walk to the Financial Centre Metro Station, which provides a seamless connection to the Airport Terminal 3 Metro Station.
According to Mr. Adel al Redha, Emirates’ Chief Operating Officer, the Emirates City Check-in represents the airline’s latest enhancement to the travel experience, reflecting its dedication to offering customers a range of check-in options. The new facility, situated in the DIFC area, is the first ultra-convenient check-in and luggage drop-off location of its kind. Customers can bypass peak periods at the airport and reduce their waiting times.
