Dubai: Emirates Airlines and Flydubai have celebrated a significant milestone in their strategic partnership, marking seven years since its inception in 2017. Over this period, the association between the two UAE-based airlines has facilitated more than 1.5 million flights, serving over 19 million passengers across their integrated network—roughly comparable to the combined populations of Paris and New York City.
Since launching, the Emirates and Flydubai partnership has extended travelers’ access to a robust global network that spans more than 225 destinations across over 100 countries. The synergies between Emirates’ global reach and Flydubai’s regional connectivity have assembled a streamlined travel experience for millions, offering extensive options for both leisure and business travelers.
Through codeshare flights, Emirates and Flydubai have bridged access to a vast array of cities. Emirates passengers aid from Flydubai’s 118 destinations, while Flydubai travelers gain access to Emirates’ 136 global locations. With a standard of 275 daily codeshare flights, the collaboration assures seamless connectivity, improving transit options and expanding the flight network available to each airline’s customers.
The partnership has also allowed both airlines to strengthen their position within the competitive aviation market by converging resources, aligning schedules, and optimizing route networks. For customers, the collaboration solves a seamless booking process, more flexible travel options, and increased frequency to key destinations, providing an added layer of comfort for both UAE residents and international visitors.
As the alliance reaches this milestone, Emirates and Flydubai remain committed to improving customer experiences and expanding their reach, underscoring the UAE’s initiative to remain a global aviation hub and gateway for international travel.
