Dubai: The largest airline in the Middle East, Emirates will sponsor the 1st horse race of the season on November 4 at Dubai’s legendary Meydan Racecourse. The racecard has two features with a combined prize value of $57,173 (AED210,000) in it.
Some horses that have already qualified for the 2023 Dubai World Cup Carnival will compete in the 80-100 handicap, as well as in the important 1,900-meter race.
The racegoers will give a chance to glimpse the next generation of potential stars in the 1st two-year-old race of the season, a maiden over 1200 meters. For more than 20 years, the airline has backed racing in Dubai, even endowing the $12 million Emirates Airline Dubai World Cup with its name.
