Dubai: Emirates Aviation University (EAU) has proudly graduated 288 students, marking another milestone in its commitment to shaping the future of the aerospace and aviation sectors.
The graduation ceremony, held at the EAU campus in Dubai, celebrated the diverse backgrounds of students from various disciplines, including Postgraduate and Undergraduate programs in Aviation Management, Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Security, Software Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and more.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Chancellor of EAU, awarded the degrees at the 34th ceremony, which was attended by dignitaries, Emirates Group executives, graduates’ families and friends, as well as faculty members.
Professor Ahmad Al Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University, highlighted the university’s success and the exceptional achievements of its graduates. Al Ali praised the consistent progress of alumni in various aviation fields, noting their growing professionalism and talent.
EAU’s displays dedication to embracing new technologies and methods of learning to prepare students for the challenges of modern air travel. Notably, the university maintains an impressive 84% Post-graduation employment rate, a testament to the value of its programs.
This year’s cohort included 100 postgraduate students and 188 undergraduate students, with 37 students sponsored by Emirates. EAU also honored 14 exemplary students across all disciplines, recognizing their outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
Furthermore, over 180 undergraduate students were granted the opportunity to intern with the Emirates Group for more than one semester. These internships provided students with authentic job experience, preparing them for successful careers in the Aviation Industry.
EAU’s continued focus on practical training, cutting-edge education, and strong industry partnerships ensures that its graduates are well-equipped to make significant contributions to the aviation sector.
