Dubai: The 30th edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT 2025) has concluded at the Dubai World Trade Centre, achieving $2.54 billion (AED9.35 billion) in direct and indirect trade deals over three days.
The event underscored the UAE’s role as one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and technology markets, aligning with the National Drug Policy’s goal of achieving 10-15 percent market growth within five years.
This year’s event welcomed over 31,000 visitors from 101 countries and hosted 1,400 global companies. The exhibition showcased cutting-edge innovations in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and dietary supplements, emphasizing solutions aimed at enhancing healthcare quality and safety.
The conference featured 155 expert speakers who delivered 130 scientific sessions and hosted nine professional workshops. Additionally, 400 scientific posters from university students were presented, underlining groundbreaking medical research. Participants earned a total of 83.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours, accredited by leading global entities.
A major highlight was the inaugural “VitaShow Dubai,” featuring over 275 global brands in dietary supplements and vitamins. This addition reflects the burgeoning dietary supplement market, fueled by growing consumer demand for wellness products.
Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Executive Chairman of DUPHAT, highlighted the event’s dual focus on scientific and economic growth, stating that, “DUPHAT fosters innovation through research, workshops, and university participation while strengthening partnerships among industry leaders. The launch of VitaShow Dubai demonstrates our commitment to advancing research and development in pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements.”

The exhibition saw strong international participation, with countries like Poland, China, and Turkey presenting innovative products. Key highlights included pharmacy-based vaccination programs encouraged by international best practices, enhancing healthcare accessibility.
GSK, a leading participant, emphasized its role in expanding pharmacy-based vaccination services. Boyd Chongphaisal, Vice President & General Manager at GSK Gulf, stated that, “DUPHAT provides a valuable platform to collaborate with healthcare leaders and pharmacists. Our partnership with the Dubai Health Authority ensures pharmacists are equipped with the latest tools to improve patient care and health outcomes.”
iNova Pharmaceuticals, a new entrant to the GCC market, introduced its Betadine Cold Defense product, developed to combat viral colds and accelerate recovery.
