Dubai: The Dubai roads turned into a vibrant sea of cyclists on November 2 as thousands of participants, from families with young children to professional riders, took part in the sixth edition of Dubai Ride, presented by DP World, launching the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025 spectacularly.
Riders had two scenic routes to choose from: the 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route and the 4km Downtown Family route. For a limited time on 2 November, both options transformed into two of the world’s most stunning cycling tracks, allowing participants to experience the heart of Dubai at daybreak, surrounded by the city’s skyline and iconic landmarks.
Families and casual cyclists enjoyed the relaxed 4km stretch through Downtown Dubai, while more adventurous participants tackled the 12km route past highlights like the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, and Burj Khalifa.

For speed enthusiasts, the Dubai Ride Speed Laps, held between 5 am and 6 am, offered a thrilling chance to race at over 30km/h along the open highway, a rare experience in the center of the city.
To ensure a smooth experience, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) extended Dubai Metro operations from 3 am to midnight, facilitating convenient travel for participants heading to and from Sheikh Zayed Road.
Dubai Ride 2025 embodies the emirate’s commitment to fitness, community spirit, and inclusivity, bringing together residents and visitors for an energetic morning that celebrated health, unity, and the joy of movement.
