Dubai: In line with the UAE-UK leadership’s aspirations to extend their cordial bilateral relations to new frontiers, Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police engaged with a delegation from the UK Government’s Department for International Trade Defense and Security Organization (DIT DSO).
The DIT DSO Delegation, led by its Director Mr. Mark Goldsack conversed with the Officials from the Dubai Police Force with the aim of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the security field.
Speaking to the guest delegation after formally welcoming them, Lt. Gen. Al Marri emphasized on the depth of cooperation and friendship between the two countries and the keenness of the UAE’s wise leadership to develop these relations and reach strategic partnerships in various sectors.

During their interaction, officials from both organizations deliberated on avenues to enhance cooperation in cybercrime, digital transformation of police services, exchange experiences at international exhibitions, and other topics of common interest.
The discussions which witnessed the participation of numerous senior officers and officials, were also attended by;
- Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency
- Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence
- Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering
- Captain Abdullah Ahmad Al Sheikh, Head of the Diplomatic and Consular Affairs Section
