Dubai: Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, praised Emirati media for adopting cutting-edge technology and integrating new market trends in order to stay up with both the UAE’s rapid growth and global media developments.
On this occasion, Sheikh Ahmed stated the UAE National Day is a chance for citizens to recommit themselves to the progress of the country.
The Chairman congratulated UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, on the Nation’s 51st National Day.
Hailing the UAE leadership’s efforts to promote sustainable development, Sheikh Ahmed asserted that the country’s rapid growth over the past five decades validates the strategic vision of the founding fathers.
The Chairman stated that this year’s National Day also offers another opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the founding fathers who worked hard to create the solid foundations necessary for economic growth and human development. Sheikh Ahmed further remarked that the accomplishments of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum will be remembered for generations. The head called on the UAE’s citizens to redouble their efforts to consolidate the country’s status as a global leader in growth and excellence.
