Dubai: Dubai International Chamber, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has supported the expansion of Farm To Plate, a Dubai-based agri-food technology solutions provider, into the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The Chamber played a pivotal role in securing Farm To Plate with key stakeholders in Eswatini, facilitating negotiations, business meetings, and advisory support to secure strategic cooperation.
Farm To Plate, a subsidiary of Paramount Software Solutions, has joined forces with Eswatini’s Royal Science and Technology Park to modernize the nation’s agri-food supply chain. The partnership is expected to designate local farmers, enhance sustainability, and optimize agricultural practices using Farm To Plate’s advanced supply chain technologies.
The partnership aims to improve farmers’ profitability through data-driven operations, capacity-building initiatives, and improved quality assurance. It also seeks to promote Eswatini’s economic growth by promoting local products, improving export readiness, and improving food production capabilities.
Savannah Maziya, Minister of ICT for Eswatini, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating that, “Farm To Plate’s entry into Eswatini mirrors our nation’s dedication to technological innovation and agricultural transformation. We are excited to adopt this opportunity to leverage digital solutions that empower local farmers and enhance our food ecosystem.
