Dubai: The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) will assemble the 24th cycle of its Pan-Arab Inter College Environmental Public Speaking Competition from 25th to 28th November 2024. Hosted at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, the four-day event requests students across the Arab region, with international manifestation, to propose sustainable solutions to key environmental challenges.
Now in its second consecutive year in Dubai, the environmental public speaking competition is sponsored by UPS, McDonald’s UAE, and Abela & CO. Taking a hybrid format, it draws participants globally and notably welcomes China for the first time, following international growth during COP28 in 2023.
EEG Co-Founder and Chairperson Habiba Al Mar’ashi emphasized that the platform empowers students to voice their dedication to environmental action, fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation.
Participants will encounter research, data sharing, and discussions on four central themes: Greennovation: Envisioning Cities of Tomorrow, Pending Eco-Excursions: Conservation & Sustainable Tourism, Harmonised Communities: Leading Climate Conscious Society, and Benevolence of Oceans: Comprehending Planetary Security.
To develop informed environmental leaders, EEG encourages all college and university students to report on its website for this vital platform advocating for global sustainability.
