Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has begun a WhatsApp channel in order to receive reports of violence as well as requests for psychiatric, social, or legal advice.
The new service aims at upgrading and enhancing the foundation’s services, as well as speeding up the provision of those services, which can be accessed by texting the foundation on WhatsApp through the hotline number 971 800 1111.
The foundation pointed out that the new service comes as a result of its efforts to diversify communication channels with customers and target audiences.
The initiative promotes smart services and makes the most of the latest technological developments to perfectly meet the demands of target clients through a unified phone number.
Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the DFWAC, remarked that the foundation adopts a digital services development strategy to develop its digital channels.
Ms. Al Mansouri continued that the recently introduced WhatsApp service can shorten the foundation’s response time and ensure the timely provision of services.
According to the statements of the director-general, the foundation is committed to constantly developing its digital services, efficiency, and service quality in order to ensure that victims of domestic violence, bullying, or human trafficking receive the best assistance possible.
Furthermore, Ms. Al Mansouri emphasized that the DFWAC will continue to make every effort to reach the highest levels of excellence while offering the best services.
The DFWAC offers its services through its website, a 24-hour helpline and social media channels.
