Dubai: Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) continues to gain momentum as it enters its exciting third week, offering residents and visitors an array of opportunities to stay active and connect with the community.
Whether a seasoned athlete or a beginner, the activities planned are designed to inspire and motivate all participants to complete their 30 minutes of daily exercise.
30×30 fitness villages
This year, DFC’s 30×30 Fitness Villages at three key locations across Dubai—Kite Beach, Zabeel Park, and Al Warqa’a Park—are a focal point for fitness and wellness activities. Each venue offers something unique:
Kite Beach: Known for its scenic location along Dubai’s coastline, Kite Beach Fitness Village provides everything from dynamic fitness classes, martial arts, and yoga to outdoor sports like volleyball and water sports.
Specific zones like the Decathlon Sports Court, DP World Cricket Arena, and Emirates NBD Water sports cater to fitness enthusiasts at various levels. The WHOOP Lift – Ride – Row area focuses on strength training and endurance, while the Emirates NBD Yoga zone offers sessions to balance both mind and body.
Zabeel Park: A more family centric hub, this village includes a Cricket Zone, Running Club, and a Teen Gym for kids, offering activities like Bloom (a game-based workout). As the Dubai Run bib collection hub, this venue also hosts Emirates Spin and Emirates 3 on 3 Basketball Court for those looking for more intense activities.
Al Warqa’a Park: Features a Cycling Hub, Dubai Municipality sports pitches, and specialized zones like a Ladies only Area and a Kids Zone with activities such as Modesh Inflatable and tennis.
The fitness villages are open with flexible hours—Kite Beach and Zabeel Park until late, and Al Warqa’a Park until 11:30 PM on weekends. They offer activities for all, from fitness experts to beginners.
