Dubai: Digital Dubai, represented by Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC) has begun accepting registrations for its Cybersecurity Bootcamp.
The initiative is expected to train new employees, fresh graduates and university seniors from any background on the field of Cybersecurity.
The program which will be launched on the 18th of July, will offer daily sessions for 5 consecutive weeks, starting at the Dubai Cyber Innovation Park in Business Bay.
THE COURSE
The Bootcamp will feature a series of training modules in Cybersecurity, supporting the attendees to improve their skills and ability to effectively and quickly address practical cyber skills required in the job field.
The participants of the program will also experience scenarios that simulate reality and offer participants a comprehensive and intensive training experience.
Deputy Director of the Information Services Department at DESC, elaborated about the program.
Sessions at the bootcamp will cover several key topics, from introducing the participants to cyber and network security processes, to evaluating common vulnerabilities in web applications that may lead to cyberattacks.
The program also introduce new frameworks to trainers which will help them to gain a clearer view of security challenges in cloud environments and understand the requirements for securing them.
Participants learn to write programming languages that adhere to cybersecurity best practices, and explore various tactics to respond to cyberattacks. The course provides a exhaustive explanation of encryption processes and methods and their importance in cybersecurity, along with the best procedures for generating reports for different levels of management.
