Dubai: In order to help the students develop their abilities and talents through a variety of clever challenges, the HR Division of Dubai Customs, one of the leading government departments taking part in enhancing sustainable development and promoting Dubai’s image worldwide, took part in the “Zayed University’s Partner Challenge” Program.

Mr. Mohammed Al Ghaffari, Executive Director, of Human Resources, Finance and Administration Division at Dubai Customs, observed that
“Zayed University’s Partner Challenge enhances technical skills for university students and helps them keep pace with the accelerating world through innovation, creativity and smart problem solving. We stepped in to provide training and development, which are the cores of Dubai Customs 2021-2026 strategic plan. The training we offer to Zayed University students is unconventional as it involves smart challenges to enhance students’ creativity and their ability to find solutions. When the initiative succeeds, it will be circulated to all sectors and departments in Dubai Customs following a specific timetable.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Bloushi, Senior manager of the HR Division’s Corporate Development Section, noted that the training program supplied to the pupils by Dubai Customs involves a variety of difficulties that must be resolved in 3-6 months.
Six students will work out to resolve each issue, and two HR personnel will be assigned to supervise each challenge as it is given to the students.
During the Zayed University students’ field trip to Dubai Customs, Mr. Al-Bloushi gave a thorough presentation on the function of the human resources division in training and qualifying personnel.
