Dubai: The Culture and Arts Authority of Dubai (Dubai Culture) is all set to begin its ‘Be Happy, Be Creative’ summer camp at Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood.
The Camp currently scheduled to run from the 19th of July to the 28th of July 2022, will offer children an experience of learning, fun and creativity with a package full of educational workshops and engaging and creative activities.
Everyday at the Camp, children aged between 7 to 12 years will enjoy a unique journey in Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, which is rich in authenticity and Emirati heritage. The Authority has also created a creative program that includes;
A range of Artistic, Educational and Cultural workshops
- Tours of the Neighborhood
- Cinematic Performances
- Puppet theatre
- Fun Sports and
- Entertainment Sessions
Speaking about the Camp, Ms. Laila Abdulla Belhoush, Director of the Summer Camp Project in Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, pointed out that the initiative comes within the framework of the Authority’s cultural responsibility to stimulate creativity and innovation among children and promote a culture of active participation from society members by integrating art and creativity within the spaces across Dubai.
The same will contribute to the discovery and development of national talents, and the opportunity for children to invest their time optimally during their summer school vacation.
THE SUMMER CAMP
The Events House No. 19 in Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood will hold camp activities everyday from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM.
Workshops and Courses between 19th of July to the 21st will be in Arabic. Whereas, these sessions will be taken in English from the 26th of July to the 28th.
