Dubai: Hala Badri, Director General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), visited the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) to strengthen ties in talent development, research, and policymaking.
The collaboration underscores commitment of Dubai Culture in fostering partnerships that align with Dubai’s vision for enhanced government coordination and innovative cultural progress.
During her visit, Badri, alongside Dubai Culture representatives, met with Dr. Ali Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, to explore ways of empowering future cultural leaders and advancing creative talent in Dubai.
Discussions highlighted the importance of integrating MBRSG’s research expertise into Dubai’s cultural policies, with a focus on developing frameworks for innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity in the cultural sector. Both parties agreed to form specialized working groups to drive initiatives that will enrich Dubai’s cultural and creative landscape.

The MBRSG team provided Dubai Culture with an overview of the school’s achievements in governance, leadership, and policy. They presented MBRSG’s contributions to public policy research and executive education, emphasizing their offerings for regional and international government leaders. The delegation also discussed MBRSG’s strategic goals of expanding its influence as a center for leadership and policymaking.
Key figures from Dubai Culture included Muna Faisal Al Gurg, CEO of the Museums and Heritage Sector; Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts, Design, and Literature Sector; Rashed Arif Al Sheikh, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence; and Consultant Luma Bourisly.
MBRSG was represented by Dr. Fadi Salem, Director of the Policy Research Department; Dr. Arthur King, Acting Dean and Director of Academic Affairs; Aisha Al Shamsi, Director of Executive Education; Dr. Aisha Al Ali, Director of Academic Development; Salha Bu-Kattara, Director of Corporate Communications; and Eiman Almarzooqi, Research Projects Manager.
