H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence, has concluded an official visit to Uzbekistan, marking a significant milestone in strengthening UAE-Uzbekistan ties.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and engaged with senior officials to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception, which he noted as a reflection of the strong and enduring ties between the two countries.
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the commitment of both nations to deepen their relationship and create new opportunities for collaboration, focusing on shared prosperity, innovation, and sustainable growth. He stressed that the partnership aims to foster long-term development, stability, and a brighter future for the citizens of both nations.
The discussions during the visit underscored the importance both nations’ leaders place on advancing their bilateral relations, with ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic cooperation across multiple sectors. Sheikh Hamdan mentioned that these sustained efforts are instrumental in driving development and enhancing prosperity for both countries.
In addition to his meeting with President Mirziyoyev, Sheikh Hamdan held talks with other senior leaders, including Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President; Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan; and Lieutenant General Kurbanov Bakhodir Nizomovich, Minister of Defence. He also attended a series of joint government events, including the Government Knowledge Exchange Retreat, aimed at fostering ideas and initiatives to enhance governance and public service excellence.
The visit has laid the foundation for further deepening UAE-Uzbekistan relations, highlighting a shared vision for innovation, cooperation, and mutual growth.
