Dubai: The Dubai Airshow is set to return this November, featuring a remarkable display of cutting-edge aerospace technology and innovation from around the world. The event promises to be an exceptional showcase of the latest trends in the industry, offering attendees a unique opportunity to explore the forefront of aviation advancement.
The Dubai Airshow has become a highly significant and influential aerospace event over the years, as demonstrated by the success of the November 2021 edition. During the event, deals worth over $ 74 billion were announced, and it attracted over 104,000 attendees, including a 50 percent increase in trade visitors. Global senior executives from 148 countries were also present at the event.

Dubai Airshow, which is under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and UAE Minister of Defence, will hold its 18th edition from 13-17 November 2023 at the Dubai Airshow Site in Dubai World Central (DWC). The event is receiving support from various aviation industry stakeholders, including Dubai Airports, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), the UAE Ministry of Defence, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP), and the UAE Space Agency.

In line with the UAE President’s announcement of 2023 as the ‘Year of Sustainability,’ the upcoming edition of Dubai Airshow will showcase sustainable initiatives and technologies from government entities and the aerospace industry. This reinforces the UAE’s unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable circularity ahead of the COP28 summit in Dubai.
The aviation industry in the UAE continues to invest in innovative projects and initiatives, such as Emirates operating its first demo flight with 100 percent Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Dubai Airports implementing efficient solutions to limit its environmental impact. The aerial mobility sector is also expected to see significant growth, with Dubai planning to launch flying taxis in 2026, advancements in electric and hybrid eVTOLs, and the DCAA publishing the world’s first national regulations related to vertiports.
Dubai Airshow will see industry trailblazers and innovators gather to identify future trends and further opportunities to continue these efforts.
