Sharjah: The Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD) in Sharjah has announced the completion of the comprehensive listing phase of the Sharjah Census 2022, which was launched under the theme ‘You Count.’
The department also announced the beginning of the new phase, where residents, citizens and facilities targeted in the first phase will need to fill out an online form.
The department has asked citizens and residents to fill out the form accurately, mentioning that submitting the form enables the department to complete all phases of the census on time and consequently has a positive impact on Sharjah’s intentions to improve quality of life.
DSCD has allocated 13 field centres in the emirate to assist people who cannot complete the form, along with a toll-free call centre 80053 exclusively for inquiries and assistance in completing the form.
DSCD also noted that the online forms are easy and straightforward, with a limited number of direct questions, and allow residents to complete the forms in English or Arabic without any prior training.
The self-counting form used in the census is time-effective, easy-to-use and does not require the user to visit the field centre or even make a phone call.
