Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) to take part in the eighth edition of the UAE Innovation Month, with the theme “UAE Innovates 2023.”
This prestigious event is one of the biggest of its type in the nation aiming to promote an innovation culture and recognize the efforts of innovators from all walks of life, including individuals, society, and institutions. Acting Director-General of DFWAC Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri highlighted that the remarkable advancement in the field of innovation was a result of its connection with human advancement, which the wise leadership judged the key to a sustainable inventive future.
Ms. Al Mansouri claimed that the National Strategy for Innovation, which aims to make the UAE one of the most innovative countries in the world and raises the bar of ambitions to new heights, was launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and that this has fueled these aspirations.
The Acting Director-General emphasized that DFWAC’s participation in Innovation Month demonstrates its dedication to living out the leadership’s vision for the UAE, which aspires to make the nation a global leader in innovation. The Foundation sees innovation as a crucial component of its humanitarian and social endeavours, thus it sets high importance on fostering an innovative culture and modernising its processes to have a real impact on developing society, Ms. Al Mansouri added.
The foundation will showcase its ground-breaking animal-assisted psychotherapy program throughout the celebration in an effort to improve the social and psychological health of kids and adults who have gone through traumatic experiences or adverse events like illness, violence, abuse, and exploitation.
The organization will also highlight its human rights project designed to enhance mobile rehabilitation programs that target victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking and seek to offer quick response and simple access to clients through the home, school, or community visits.
The Foundation will also highlight its ground-breaking project to improve treatment services by providing women and kids with remote access to social and psychological therapy sessions through specialised technological platforms.
The DFWAC’s smart app for People of Determination will stand out during the UAE Innovation Month considering that it won the Best Smart Application prize in 2021. It stands out as one of the top organisations in accessibility evaluation outcomes, offering crucial assistance for the requirements of resolute individuals.
