Abu Dhabi: The Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi (DCD) is hosting the first Social Care Forum on October 2-3, 2024, in collaboration with Deloitte (Middle East).
The event, which is being held under the theme “To Enhance Innovation and Cooperation in the Field of Social Care,” intends to talk about worldwide and future trends in the delivery of social care services. In addition to revealing cutting-edge techniques and numerous digital advancements in the social care services industry, the event will examine tactics for fostering and growing elite talent in the sector.
To shape the future of social care, the forum will bring together a renowned collection of thought leaders, practitioners, politicians, innovators, and service providers from both locally and internationally.
It seeks to pinpoint industry problems, create solutions, and share cutting-edge worldwide best practices, enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a leader in the social sector and promoting a sustainable quality of life.
In addition to interactive workshops and case studies showcasing the most recent innovations and successes, panel discussions covering important social care concerns and keynote addresses by officials and professionals in the field will cover a variety of inspirational subjects. Additionally, there will be an exhibition featuring the most significant creations made by innovators and providers in the social sector.
Mubarak Salem Al Ameri, Executive Director of the Social Licensing and Control Sector at DCD, remarked that, “Organizing the Social Care Forum in Abu Dhabi comes as part of our efforts to strengthen and develop the social sector and the country, in line with our national vision and sustainable development goals.”
“The forum brings together an elite group of experts, public and private sector service providers, policy makers and innovators from various sectors to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of social care. This forum will enhance awareness of sector-specific issues and discuss innovative solutions to address the challenges it faces,” Al Ameri added.
