Umm Al Quwain has been the focus of heartfelt condolences following the passing of Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla, a prominent member of the royal family. His death on Tuesday morning prompted a wave of sympathy from leaders across the UAE and the Gulf.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, received condolences from numerous dignitaries. Among the first to offer condolences was His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, who visited Aletihad Hall to extend sympathies to Sheikh Abdullah’s family.
Other notable attendees included Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, also visited the mourning majlis, offering condolences to Sheikh Saud and the Al Mualla family, praying for Allah’s mercy and patience for the family.
Regional leaders, including King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, and Qatar’s Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, sent condolences, demonstrating the strong ties within the Gulf leadership.
