Abu Dhabi: Coldplay has announced the Music of the Spheres World Tour to Abu Dhabi, pointing out their first Middle Eastern performance in over a decade. The highly awaited show will be held on January 11 at the Zayed Sports City Stadium.
This event is expected to be a remark of the UAE’s live music scene, featuring a dazzling lineup of lights, fireworks, and the band’s greatest hits, including “Yellow,” “Fix You,” and “Viva La Vida.” The awaited coldplay performer on stage will be Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna, who recently joined hands with the band on the track “We Pray.”
Since its initiative in March 2022, the Music of the Spheres World Tour has made headlines for breaking attendance records and putting on sale over 10 million tickets worldwide. The tour has received critical praise, with The Guardian describing it as “a fantastical feel-good bonanza,” NME calling it “genuinely stunning,” and The Times hailing it as “the greatest live music show ever.”
