Dubai: A virtual media interaction session, especially targeting the UAE market was recently organized by the Chinese automobile manufacturer, Chery.
Mr. Shu, Assistant President of Chery International, Mr. Nick, Brand Director, Mr. Simon, Deputy General Manager of Middle East, and Mr. Leo, Director for the UAE market attended the virtual gathering which conducted in-depth exchanges with senior journalists and media outlets from the UAE about the automaker’s market planning for the country.
Kicking off the virtual media interaction, Mr. Simon, Deputy General Manager of Chery International in the Middle East, shared a brief on the current business segments and industrial layout of Chery Group. Based on the main value chain of automobiles, the automaker has formed 7 core business sectors, including; Automobiles, Auto Parts, Modern Services, Finance, Intelligent Networking, Ships and Real Estate.
As for the automobile segment, a multi-brand synchronous development pattern has been shaped from ‘entry-level’ to ‘luxury level’. Thanks to its innovative technology and solid quality, Chery has won the gold medal of ICQCC, which is known as the “Quality Olympics” for 5consecutive times. In addition, its products, which are deeply loved by users, have won various awards in Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and other countries and regions.
Later in the session, Mr. Nick, Brand Director of Chery International spoke about the Chery brand and user operation concept to the UAE media outlets. Mr. Nick highlighted that the Chinese automaker adheres to the value concept of co-creation, mutual benefit and common progress with users, and the WCWL (with Chery with love) formed has enabled countless users to enjoy a sense of belonging to the brand. Furthermore, Chery has also innovatively constructed the “CREATE” system, which aims to keep Chery and its customers in closer contact, so that more customers can join the ecology that Chery creates and develops together.
In line with the same, Chery is sharing the passion of the football feast with global users during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The automaker has not only become the focus of global football fans by the force of lighting up the landmark Torch Doha but also reached cooperation with Qatar Airways to become the official designated vehicle of Qatar Airways during the World Cup, providing thoughtful and honorable travel services for this World Cup.
The UAE Market
Speaking at the event, Mr. Shu, Assistant President of Chery International declared that Chery would launch the flagship SUV product TIGGO 8 PRO MAX in the UAE market.
Equipped with the automaker’s most advanced 2.0T powertrain, AWD system, and a new generation of ADAS intelligent assistant system, TIGGO 8 PRO MAX underlines a sense of technology and luxury. Furthermore, the vehicle has also won 2nd place in the medium-sized SUV segment at the 2022 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, released by J.D. Power.
Mr. Shu further added that, in the future, the PHEV model will also be launched, and Chery will embrace the UAE 2050 vision with its new energy products. Moreover, aiming to offer better services to the users, Chery will also provide a complete after-sales service system in the UAE market.
At the end of the virtual interaction, the Chery leadership answered several questions from the UAE media while exchanging information on the upcoming large-scale brand conference and the launch plan of new products that users are most concerned about.
