Dubai: Careem has partnered with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to provide free Careem Bike rentals for all participants in this year’s Dubai Ride, reinforcing their shared goal of making the city’s flagship cycling event more inclusive and sustainable.
Participants can unlock a complimentary single-trip pass on the Careem app using the promo code DR25, and pick up bikes from two dedicated pop-up stations, Entrance A: Museum of the Future (Trade Centre Street) and Entrance E: Lower FCS (Financial Centre Street), or from any of the 200 Careem Bike stations across Dubai.
Bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with extra-time fees waived for rides exceeding 45 minutes during that period.
Hussain Al Banna, CEO of the Traffic and Roads Agency at RTA, said that, “Dubai Ride is a key part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and reflects RTA’s commitment to promoting Dubai as a bicycle-friendly city. Our partnership with Careem Bike supports active and sustainable mobility, aligned with RTA’s goals of safety, sustainability, and customer happiness.”

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with RTA for the fourth year in a row to make Dubai Ride more accessible. Offering free Careem Bikes encourages the community to participate and promotes cycling as a healthy, eco-friendly way to move around the city,” Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Chief Business Officer at Careem, remarked.

Over the past five years, Careem Bike rides have displaced more than 5.7 million kg of CO₂, equivalent to the emissions of over 1,600 cars, highlighting the initiative’s contribution to sustainable urban living.
