Abu Dhabi: With the postponed FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021 right around the corner, last-minute ticket sales for the event sponsored by Alibaba Cloud have begun online now.
Earlier, match tickets sold during the Visa Pre-sale Phase had garnered significant demand from the enthusiasts, particularly for the Final set to take place on the 12th of February 2022 and the Semi-Finals featuring Brazilian professional football club Palmeiras and English football giant Chelsea on the 8th and 9th of February.
With less than 30 days to the tournament, international governing body for football, FIFA has unveiled a range of affordable tickets for fans to grab their seats for the highly anticipated matches through the FIFA Tickets webpage.
Tickets for the event are are sold on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the tournament and fans are advised to monitor FIFA’s Tickets webpage for ticket availability and updates.
THE EVENT
The first match of the high-profile tournament will take place on the 3rd of February when UAE representative Al Jazira FC and the Oceania Football Confederation’s nominee, AS Pirae will take to the turf.
Apart from the opening match competitors the Knock-Out event will also feature international teams namely; the Champions of Concacaf (CF Monterrey), UEFA (Chelsea), CONMEBOL (Palmeiras), the AFC (Al Hilal SFC), and CAF (Al Ahly SC).
All the matches will be played at either the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium or at the Al Nahyan Stadium.
TICKET PRICING
The most affordable tickets for the event are for Category 4, priced at just $5.45. Most expensive of the lot is the Category 1 Final Ticket costing $54.45.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Ticketholders are mandated to present their Green Pass on Alhosn, showing their fully vaccinated status and a negative PCR test result valid for no more than 48 hours to gain entry to the venue.
