Abu Dhabi: In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC), SEHA CLINICS, part of PureHealth, has introduced ‘Barakat Al Seha’ (Blessings of Health), a well-being and recipe book designed as part of a pioneering community-wide initiative.
Created to make healthier living more achievable and sustainable for families across the UAE, the book combines culturally rooted recipes, practical wellness guidance, and evidence-based lifestyle tips in a clear, accessible format.
Endorsed by ADPHC and approved under its SEHHI program, the initiative aligns with the UAE Year of the Community, supports the UAE National Well-being Strategy 2031, and advances PureHealth’s mission to integrate longevity, prevention, and overall wellness into daily life.

It also highlights SEHA CLINICS’ role as a community health partner, delivering clinically sound yet culturally relevant guidance that bridges the gap between public health recommendations and everyday habits.
Khadija Al Marashda, Chief Executive Officer of SEHA CLINICS, said that, “At SEHA CLINICS, our mission is rooted in supporting the health and longevity of our community. We believe prevention begins at home, with informed choices, balanced meals, and simple changes to daily routines. Barakat Al Seha is a practical guide to living well, blending trusted nutrition and wellness insights with cultural familiarity.”
“More than a book, it’s part of a broader movement towards a healthier future. It gives families the confidence to take charge of their health with guidance they can trust, grounded in the culinary traditions and flavours they know and love. Barakat Al Seha reflects our long-term commitment to health education. We hope it empowers families to take small, sustainable steps that lead to lasting, meaningful change,” Al Marashda added.

The launch comes at a time when communities increasingly seek reliable, easy-to-understand wellness information amid a landscape crowded with conflicting health advice. Barakat Al Seha provides a grounded, practical alternative that merges clinical knowledge with real-life relevance to help families make better lifestyle decisions.
His Excellency Dr. Rashed Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC), remarked that, “Interest in nutrition labelling in food menus and products is growing, as it plays a vital role in guiding consumers towards healthier food choices and in preventing diet-related non-communicable diseases. At ADPHC, our mission is to enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of Abu Dhabi’s community by promoting prevention and early detection.”
“Through our SEHHI (healthy in Arabic) Program, we offer an easy way for the public to identify healthier food options. Foods that meet the program’s criteria display the SEHHI logo, helping consumers make informed choices when ordering food from restaurants and food establishments,” Al Suwaidi added.

The Director General noted that, “We are proud to mark a new milestone for the SEHHI Program with the launch of the Barakat Al Seha book by SEHA CLINICS, which has been approved under the program.”
Developed by PureHealth employees under the supervision of licensed dietitians, the book offers halal-compliant, Emirati-inspired recipes along with advice on movement, mental health, and sustainable daily routines.
It is fully integrated into SEHA CLINICS’ primary care model, enabling patients to follow up with nutrition and mental well-being consultations as needed. Printed copies are now available through SEHA CLINICS, schools, government platforms, and community events across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Barakat Al Seha supports PureHealth’s broader vision to transform healthcare into a catalyst for longevity and national well-being, advancing the UAE’s goals for a healthier, more connected society during the Year of the Community and beyond.
