Dubai: Middle East’s leading international art fair, Art Dubai is all set for its biggest edition yet with the 2022 event planned to take place at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai from the 11th of March to the 13th.
The 15th Edition of the event which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai will be the biggest to date with 100+ exhibitors converging in Dubai from 44 countries. The event will see more than 30 first-time exhibitors taking part this year.
This year’s fair will also have a newly commissioned site-specific works by internationally renowned artists, a unique new digital section that will act as a bridge between the crypto and art world, ground-breaking group exhibitions, and an ambitious multi-strand talks program, including the 15th edition of the Global Art Forum.

While the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is the event’s strategic partner, one of the fastest growing cryptocurrency exchanges, Bybit will be the lead partner of Art Dubai Digital.
ART DUBAI DIGITAL
One of the key highlights of this year’s event will be the new Fair section which will explore the digital and NFT art worlds. The Section will examine the context out of which NFTs, cryptocurrency, video art and virtual reality (VR) have grown since the rise of digital art in the 1980s, including those who are leading the way in the rapidly expanding digital art space.
Art Dubai Digital will have a curated selection of 17 top international galleries and platforms, and include presentations by some of the most exciting and innovative artists working in the digital space today, including Refik Anadol (Pilevneli) and Uta Bekaia and Denis Davydov (Window Project) as well as multi-artist presentations by Institut, Bright Moments, Fingerprints DAO, Postmasters, Emergeast and Cyber Baat.
Art Dubai Digital will also include an exhibition of new NFTs created by the 12 UAE-based and international artists taking part in this year’s expanded edition of Campus Art Dubai.
Apart from the exhibitions, the 2022 Edition of Art Dubai will also host innovative talks programs for a range of audiences.
