Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), a division of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), has recently partnered with the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaborative agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and the development of solutions to address contemporary challenges in Arab research and academia.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of ALC, and Mr. Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation.
This significant agreement sets the stage for close collaboration in implementing joint strategic projects and organizing events that explore intellectual, scientific, and cultural aspects. The focus will be on Arab culture and other relevant subjects. Moreover, both entities will engage in exchanging databases containing information about Arab and international cultural figures.

The ALC is fully committed to crafting innovative programmes and initiatives while forging strong partnerships to enhance cooperation and collectively tackle the challenges faced by the Arabic language. We strive to devise optimal solutions that position the Arabic language at the forefront of cultural, intellectual, and creative domains.

To ensure effective implementation, the ALC and the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation will establish a comprehensive action plan that includes workshops, seminars, advisory services, joint research studies, and reports on topics of mutual interest. A joint committee will be responsible for overseeing and executing these programs.

By leveraging their collective expertise and resources, the ALC and the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Arab heritage while contributing to the advancement of knowledge in various fields.
