Abu Dhabi: The phase two of the 19th Al Dhafra Festival, featuring the Razeen Mazayna camel beauty competitions, will run from November 15 to 22, 2025, at the dedicated contest arena in Razeen, Abu Dhabi.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the Al Dhafra Festival spans four major camel beauty events: Suweihan, Razeen, Madinat Zayed, and the final Al Dhafra Mazayna.
Across all stages, the festival includes 355 rounds and offers 3,370 prizes worth more than AED 88.7 million ($24.15 million) across the Majahim, Local Asayel, Asayel Crossbred, and Wadh categories.

The Razeen Mazayna segment will include 76 competitions for camels belonging to Their Highnesses and tribal owners. These consist of 38 rounds for Local Asayel, 32 for Majahim, and 6 for Asayel Crossbreeds, covering six age divisions: Mafarid, Haqayiq, Lagaya, Yedaa’, Thanaya, and Hool.
A total of 730 prizes valued at AED 11.45 million ($3.12 million) have been designated for this phase alone. Strong turnout of camel owners from across the UAE and wider GCC is anticipated, with participants showcasing cherished traditions, authentic customs, and a heritage passed down through generations.
The Al Dhafra Festival’s opening stage, the Suweihan Mazayna, took place from October 27 to November 3, 2025, drawing 2,402 camel owners competing across Majahim, Local Asayel, and Asayel Hybrid categories from six Gulf and Arab nations: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Yemen.
The main arena at the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Heritage Racetrack in Suweihan welcomed more than 24,000 visitors, including owners, heritage lovers, and tourists.
