Al Ain: Al Ain Zoo welcomed 226 students in 2022 to Al Ain Safari with the goal of providing an exceptional learning experience provided by the school programs team to teach the younger generation about different ecosystems and allow them to explore the variety of wildlife at the safari tour.
Throughout the exciting adventure, the Zoo’s team of knowledgeable experts serves as guides. Students navigate the safari in a special vehicle to see antelopes, zebras, ostriches, giraffes, and other animals in their natural habitats.
The students are able to absorb valuable information about the safari ecosystem and its wildlife as they are informed about the Zoo’s significant initiatives that support this vital cause, raising their awareness of animal conservation and nature preservation.
The Giraffe Feeding Experience is one of the most exciting experiences that students look forward to because they get to call the giraffes by name and experience the joy of feeding them, as well as see and interact with these gentle giants up close.
The student tours are conducted in Arabic or English, depending on the student’s preference, as part of Al Ain Zoo’s special school trips and seasonal camps to create an interesting educational format for students to discover and learn more through a variety of techniques that support innovative educational needs.
The tours are intended to increase participants’ awareness of biodiversity and nature conservation, in accordance with the Zoo’s mandated objectives.
