Abu Dhabi: The Al Ain Ladies Club Women’s Football Championship has been launched as the first competition of its kind in the Al Ain Region, organized in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy (FBMA).
The event will take place from November 17 to 21, 2025 at the Al Ain Ladies Club Stadium. This initiative represents a significant step forward in the UAE’s efforts to empower women in sports. It aligns with the country’s vision of creating opportunities for women to participate in various athletic fields, fostering equality and promoting a culture of health and fitness across society.
The championship is expected to feature participation from multiple women’s teams from across the UAE. Noura Al Amri, Championship Director and Director of Al Ain Ladies Club, stated that, “This championship marks the beginning of a promising journey in supporting female talents and providing a competitive environment that helps discover and highlight the athletic potential of Emirati women.”

Al Amri added that the championship is part of the club’s broader strategy to promote sports awareness among women, encouraging them to adopt active lifestyles that contribute to both personal and community wellbeing.
The Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy continue to play key roles in advancing women’s sports across the UAE.
