Ajman: The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) is set to showcase the Ajman’s profile as a premier global destination at the World Travel Market (WTM) London, running from November 5 to 7, 2024.
ATDD will unveil the ambitious tourism projects and growth strategies aimed at strengthening its appeal across international markets.
During WTM, ATDD will emphasize its partnerships with leading travel and tourism firms worldwide, promoting the unique allure of Ajman’s natural and cultural sites, from pristine beaches to the Ajman Museum and protected nature reserves. The department’s goal is to not only attract European travelers but also expand Ajman’s tourism reach globally.
HE Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ATDD, highlighted that, “WTM London is a prime opportunity for us to connect with industry leaders, exchange expertise, and position Ajman as a distinguished destination. Our aim is to attract more visitors by advancing projects that develop sustainable tourism infrastructure and support Ajman Vision 2030, enhancing the emirate’s stature on the world tourism stage.”
The Ajman delegation includes top hotels and travel firms such as Ajman Saray Hotel, Fairmont Ajman, and The Oberoi Beach Resort Ajman, all showcasing their offerings to the international market.
2024 has seen a marked uptick in tourism from the UK, with arrivals up by 11 percent from January to September compared to last year, and an 8.1 percent increase in average stay duration.
ATDD’s commitment extends beyond attraction; the department also plans community, cultural, and entertainment events to provide memorable experiences for all.
