Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development has concluded the first edition of the Ajman Motor Festival 2022, which was held for more than a month under the patronage of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD).
Along with multiple entertainment activities for families, the festival offered various shows and interactive activities related to super cars, modified cars and motorcycles.
Mr. Mahmood Khaleel Al Hashmi, Director-General of ATDD, emphasised the important role of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development in promoting the leading touristic and investment position of Ajman and highlighted the success of the Motor Festival in terms of organisation and content, in addition to attracting participants from all across the world.
For the past 30 days, the Ajman Motor Festival 2022 aimed to introduce the world of motors with its many car and motorcycle models to all its visitors, as well as raising awareness on the importance of safe driving and precaution measures required, and also offered a platform for participants to exchange their experiences.
Mr. Al Hashmi stated.
The organising committee has succeeded in introducing the motor world to a large number of people and providing a good investment opportunity for local and international motor companies to offer their latest products and best services.
The festival had four major events that were held in different locations in Ajman, including City Centre Ajman, the Ajman Museum, and Marsa Ajman, that hosted activities coinciding with the UAE’s 51st National Day. The vehicles included government cars, modified cars, super cars, motorcycles, and drift cars.
More than 100 international teams coming from distant countries such as the UK, the USA, Germany, Italy, India, Switzerland, and Lebanon participated in the 1000 Miglia Experience event, which consisted of a 1600-kilometer ride of classic sports cars.
The motor festival was organized in collaboration with the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE), the Ajman Police, the Ajman Civil Defense, City Centre Ajman, Marsa Ajman, Gulfa Water as the Hydration Sponsor, Saudi German Hospital, and Ajman Volunteer Team.
