Ajman: HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council has welcomed Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), at Al Safia Rest House in Mushairif.
The meeting primarily discussed the Central Bank’s initiatives to develop the UAE’s banking sector, enhance confidence in the country’s financial services, and promote monetary and financial stability. Khaled Balama briefed the Crown Prince on the bank’s ongoing efforts to implement plans and strategies aimed at these goals. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman attended the meeting.
Sheikh Ammar praised the Central Bank’s efforts to support the UAE’s economic growth, emphasizing the importance of competitiveness, diversity, and adaptability in the financial sector. The Crown Prince highlighted the crucial role of the banking sector in achieving efficiency and flexibility aligning with the vision of the nation’s wise leadership.
The Central Bank Governor expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Ammar and the Government of Ajman, led by HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. Khaled Balama acknowledged the consistent support of the leadership in driving development and advancing the financial and banking sectors.
The meeting was attended by several key figures, including Rashid Abdul Rahman bin Jabr Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Human Resources Department in Ajman, Saif Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor of the Central Bank for Banking Operations and Support Services, Noura Al Balushi, Director-General of the Emirates Institute of Finance, and Mustafa Al Khalafawi, CEO of Ajman Bank.
