Ajman: The Business Women’s Council in Ajman has formalized its ties with Umm Al-Moumineen Women’s Association to enhance cooperation and implement joint initiatives and projects to empower women.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al-Ali, Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council, and Ms. Asmaa Muhammad Shahdad, Executive Director of Umm Al-Moumineen Women’s Association, at the Ajman Centre for Entrepreneurship of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The association will also strive to strengthen women’s societal role, guide them to engage in self-employment fields and diversify their investments and private projects so as to increase their contribution to the process of sustainable economic development.
For her part, Ms. Asmaa Muhammad Shahdad highlighted that the experiences and knowledge of both parties will improve cooperation and partnership to implement value-added activities that contribute to providing more benefits to the members and affiliates of both the Association and the Council.
