Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has announced its collaboration with Astana International Exchange (AIX) as the latest member to join the Tabadul Digital Exchange Hub. The Tabadul Hub, launched by ADX in July 2022, is the region’s first digital exchange center based on the mutual market access model. It facilitates digital trading between member exchanges at both regional and global levels, aiming to enhance cooperation and increase liquidity in the participating markets.
The agreement signed between ADX and AIX enables remote access for their respective brokerage companies through the Tabadul platform. This move strengthens their commitment to expanding bilateral relations and fostering cooperation. Investors will be able to trade directly through licensed brokers in both markets, enabling investments across ADX and AIX.
The inclusion of AIX in the Tabadul Digital Exchange Hub expands the capabilities of the platform, providing a seamless and efficient trading experience for investors. This development follows the strategic partnership between ADX and AIX, outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding signed in October 2021.
Mr. Abdulla Salem Al Nuaimi, CEO of ADX, emphasized their commitment to establishing a regional and global network for knowledge and information sharing through Tabadul. Al Nuaimi stated that the partnership with AIX signifies the beginning of an exciting new chapter, aiming to enhance market efficiency and foster global economic growth.
Investors registered with eligible local brokers can access the Tabadul platform, provided they meet all the requirements set by their local exchanges. Securities on Tabadul will be traded in the respective exchange’s local currency or the specified currency of the traded asset, with no minimum order amount required.
The partnership between ADX and AIX within the Tabadul Digital Exchange Hub represents a significant step toward market connectivity and transformation in the region, fostering economic growth and driving mutual long-term success.
